Mae mis Hydref wedi bod yn wych. Yn gynyddol mae Prosiect Xcel yn cael ei adnabod fel enghraifft flaenllaw sy’n dangos sut i drawsnewid cymunedau drwy fentrau cymunedol. Mae Prosiect Xcel ar restr fer dau gategori yng Ngwobrau Busnesau Cymdeithasol Cymru: ‘Menter Gymdeithasol y Flwyddyn’, a ‘Menter Gymdeithasol o Blaid Defnyddwyr’. Ni sy’n ymddangos ar glawr y rhaglen.

Bydd hyn yn ein galluogi i ailgylchu mwy, a chreu incwm fydd yn ein caniatáu i wneud llawer mwy i gyrraedd a newid bywydau pobl mewn angen yng Nghaerfyrddin. October has been a great month. The Xcel Project is being increasingly recognised as a prime example of how social enterprises can transform communities. The Xcel Project was shortlisted for two categories, 'Cosumer Facing Social Enterprise' and 'Best Social Enterprise' at the Social Business Wales Awards. We were even featured on the cover of the program!

Xcel Furniture are currently applying for a grant from the Aviva Community Fund to buy a compactor. This will help us to recycle more and bring in more income, which in turn will allow us to do more to reach people and change lives in Carmarthen!.
